today dj scratched a kid because he would let give up the toy that dj wanted

…the incident was documented

i just cut his nails 3 days ago

..perhaps i should have filed them as well

*shrugs*

today was also day one of potty training

after standing near the pot for 15 minutes, he finally felt comfortable enough to sit

darien showed him how to sit with his “pee pee” pointing down

and there we then sat for another 20 minutes

since his diaper was off and bedtime was just 30 minutes away i decided to put dj in the shower

after we showered and i turned off the water, dj proceeded to squat down and poop right there in the shower

*sighs*

hopefully tomorrow will be a better day…

so i  receive a text today while at work stating simply, “don’t worry about dinner tonight, i got it”

-sidenote: i have worked 30 hours in the last three days and am exhausted!

i smile figuring darien has made tuna helper, cause my dear hubby is far from a chef

i am happy all the same because i truly did not feel like cooking tonight

sometimes, alot of the time darien is just so thoughtful :)

when i get home i smell grilled food and the house is sparkling

darien tells me to sit down and he proceeds to serve me a 4 course meal consisting of crab stuffed salmon, lobster and crab dip with hawaiian bread for appetizers, salad with vinaigrette, grilled cajun catfish for dinner and lastly chocolate covered strawberries for dessert

he makes me so darn happy :)

i honestly fall more in love with my son daily

he is my whole world

whenever i have a long day/night at work or am unable to be with dj for the evening

darien tells me that dj was asking for me

i smile because i know darien is just being sweet -one of the many admirable traits of my husband

well this morning while i was sleeping i hear dj wake and all he keeps saying is, “mama? mama??”

i hear dj’s voice getting closer as if he is standing outside our closed, bedroom door

i hear darien whisper, “mommy’s sleep”

the door slowly creaks open and i hear an excited, “MAMA!”

followed by darien whispering, “shhhh, mama’s sleep”

dj quietly says, “uh oh”

5 minutes go by then i hear dj by the door again, “mama? mama??”

the door opens and it’s both my dariens

“mama! mama!!”

dj hugs me and keeps repeating “mama…mama”

my heart is melting

they leave me to sleep and dj tells me, “bye bye…i gushit you”

which is translated into, “bye, bye…i love you”

• life has been muy bueno lately
• hubby has been fantastic!
• stumbled onto his “life log” and had many feelings rush over me
• i felt like i was peering into his soul
• went to sandy point beach on saturday and had a ball…despite being around smart as rocks alicia darien’s friend’s wife
• dj loves the water!
• i am bronzy once again
• currently watching “the whale that ate jaws” which is just concreting my enormous fear of killer whales
• this documentary is concreting darien’ dislike for california
• soooooo broke :(
• online window shopping causes me sadness
• can’t wait to visit indy next weekend
• i miss my mommy and daddy :)
• my nails are a hot mess
• darien gave me money to get them done today
• …for NO REASON
• reason # 4,761 *winks*
• i have played a total of 3 hours of tetris this weekend
• green tea latte is what’s really, really good in the streets
• dj is bad
• operation discipline is on and popping
• we have a ‘bad chair’ that we placed in the dining room and it’s seems to be working
• today after being in the bad chair after slapping me in the face for telling him that he could not snatch my glasses off my face he grabbed my legs repeating “i know…i know” in an apologetic tone
• my ranch chicken burgers are delicious

i’ve been incredibly sick since tuesday and have not worked out since monday :(

i have gained 3 of the pounds i lost back :( :(

feeling better now and WILL get back on track!
