our (my and darien’s) love for the hbo series true blood is bordering obsessive
we lost our power and cable connection during the horrible storm on sunday and we were entirely blown about missing the newest episode
never-mind that hbo shows reruns aaaaaall week
so blown in fact, we both went to bed early
our cable was back the next day and the first thing we did was watch it on demand :)
yesterday i saw a beautiful little boy with skin the color of blueberries
he had eyelashes that went on for days and a radiant smile
i smiled at the little boy, admiring his regal complexion
…the sad part is he probably hates (or will grow to hate) his dark, beautiful skin
dj pees with ease
…now pooping is another story entirely
seems i can only get him to go #2 on the potty if i dang near hold him down to it
something about pooping makes him wanna stand
..leaving poop on the floor for his dear mommy to clean up :(
he did however, poop on a big potty while at a birthday party over the weekend
i couldn’t stand because his feet couldn’t reach the floor
maybe i’ve stumbled onto a magic trick to keep poo poo in the potty NOT on the floor
hmmm…
there is a mosquito in my house
i see it from time to time
i have acquired 3 HUGE bites in two days
that mofo has got to be kilt!
*goes to find darien’s sandal*
day 3:
dj peed aaaaaaaaand pooped in the potty today!!!!!!!!
no poo poo in the tub
no poo poo on the floor
poo poo in the potty!
i nearly cried :)
day 2 of p.t. (potty training) and dj actually pees in the potty twice!!!
he did, however, jump off the potty to poop on the floor
*shakes head*
but hey, we gotta take baby steps, right?
right??!!??
he was very proud
..almost as proud as mommy was :)
