this is some bull :[

thursday: my right eye began to hurt, so i removed my contacts and thought all would be well in the world by the morning

friday: my right eye in pinkish and irritable

saturday: right eye is dripping (clear liquid) and even more irritated >:[

went to a doctor and was diagnosed with viral conjunctivitis, prescribed an antibiotic, and told to stay away from others until tuesday

sunday: eye swollen, nearly shut

monday: no improvement

tuesday: not as swollen but now blood red

wednesday: now pink and not swollen at all :)

wednesday night: in my sleep, i felt myself rub left eye, woke up immediately to wash hands and pray that i had not spread this terrible infection to one GOOD eye…

please note: until that moment, i had avoided touching either eye directly

thursday: left eye is slightly pink and now matches right eye

:(  :(  :(  :(  :(

WILL THIS EVER END?!?!?!?!?!?!

*sighs*

vh1’s single ladies is my new thing

• i’m sorry for the dreary, emo nature of my previous posts
• been feeling pretty down and writing/ranting helps
• i am doing…better
• deactivated my fb account (temporary) and not planning to log on to twitter for a while
• i was getting addicted and it (the addiction) was starting to bring out some ugly traits/signs that were unhealthy
• THE GOOD THING is i saw what was happening, knew it was NOT ME and knew it had to be stopped
• the even GREATER THING is that i saw some people’s true colors!
• ..besides, my true friends know how to contact me if need be
• it’s funny the things you learn about yourself when you take the time to be by yourself
• what’s even funnier is that sometimes life forces you to take that needed time
• last thursday my right eye started to sting, as if i had something lodged in it, like sand..friday it was red and by saturday i could barely open it..come to find out i had viral conjunctivitis and needed to be quarantined for 3 days.
• while locked in my bedroom, away from the world, even my own family, i watched a lot of movies and thought A LOT
• i compare my life to others and get upset and sometimes jealous of the lives others around me seem to live
• here’s the thing: no one knows someone’s WHOOOLE story! people only give you the “highlight” reel
• the old saying is true, “the grass always seems greener..”
• i can only live my life and worry about my own decisions and consequences!
• *whew*
• i am already beginning to feel tons better :)
• i DO have many people in my life who love and accept me the way that i am
• i have a husband who loves me and one almost two *smiles* little beings that think i am the sun and the moon :)
• my son tells me whenever i do something and i mean anything different to my hair, “nice mommy! pretty hair!!”
• he also complements me whenever i wear a dress or paint my nails!
• that boy notices everything!!
• following recent cravings: thai food, chocolate ice cream, cantalope, chili cheese fries, fried mushrooms with horseradish

today (6/23/11) i give up putting effort in relationships that are seemingly one sided

i am DONE feeling hurt and broken because i am often ALWAYS the one let down

i am awesome, amazing, wonderful and kind

• today i feel like a friend took personal shots at me without remorse

• this week my right foot swole up to 10x its size!
• my sister and brother inlaw said it looked like when professor klump’s foot swole up and smashed down the gas pedal on the movie

• my doctor gave me advice and tips and since i’ve had normal sized feet :)
• i LOOOOOVE vh1’s single ladies!!!
• stacey dash really cannot do any wrong in my book
• yesterday was the first day of summer and i canNOT wait to be at some body’s pool!
• i’m all over the place with my emotions these days
• i began crying at my desk and could not stop earlier today
• ..it was for no reason in particular
• nah, i just lied..it was for SEVERAL reasons
• i really, really want a peanut butter and jelly sandwich :d
• nervous about traveling over the 4th of july weekend
• though a weekend on the the peaceful beach of wilmington sounds lovely, having a baby in north carolina DOES NOT!
• i’m in my 30th week so ideally i have time but you can never be too careful…
• today i re-visited my bikini pictures i took while a hooter girl and i feel soooooooooooo motivated to get it together post baby!
• i’m thinking p90x…pray for me y’all!
• i went to indy last week for my family reunion
• dj was sick nearly the whole time
• when he’s ill i feel ill, emotionally
• my poor baby couldn’t breathe and his eyes were swollen :(
• he’s much better now and is talking clearer than ever!!
• this morning he told me that he wanted cookies for breakfast and that if i was nice i could have some too! LOL
• we didn’t have any cookies so i made cinnamon rolls
• goodness, how i wish i were a stay-at-home mom!
• my pops and i got into it during my stay..
• we are sooooo much alike, overly emotional, sensitive, that we bump heads ALOT
• i worry about him because he takes everything personal and he stays stressed :(
• i’m pretty sure my mom was just happy to see “her pooter” she could have cared less if darien or i were there
• hahaha, just kidding , mom, i knooooow you adore us! ;)
• i noticed with my super human sense of smell that iced green tea latte smells a lot like raw fish *gags*
• W T F
• i had dinner with many old girlfriends of mine during my trip and i really miss the comradery
• …something i do not have here in MD
• we (the hubs and i) often talk about moving to indy to be closer to family and friends, we love the city (DMV) but the city does not love us, and by city i mean cost of living -MURDEROUS!!!
• i love my micro braids but soooo anxious to take them out and see the (hair) growth underneath them!!
• ..i only have 2 and a half more months left (with them in) LOL

• feeling some kind of way today
• i tend to dwell in the past and MUST (try to) LIVE FOR TODAY AND LOOK TOWARDS MY FUTURE!!!!
• saw my unborn in a 3D ultrasound yesterday and it’s all i’ve been thinking about!
• i’m finally beginning to get excited…only 11 more weeks to go
• we painted an accent wall over the weekend in the living room!
• oh, and by “we” i mean darien and krys (brother) :)
• learned that i’ve gained…(wait for it)…17.5lbs in 29 weeks :(
• this wouldn’t be so bad if i wasn’t expected to gain another 10-15 in the next 11 weeks *groans*
• the GOOD news is that i am, at the moment, very inspired to get it right and tight asap…after i give birth and whatnot :)
• i’m (more than likely) getting braids this weekend…sorta excited about the change…NOT excited about the pain or cost :/
• really, really excited about seeing my family next week!
• i hope i get to consume the following (katrina and mom take note): perch samich from post road fish market OR mary’s, mariachi chicken pizza, fried okra from churches, and yats :d
• ^^so much for not gaining weight excessively^^
• its 97 degrees in chocolate city today
• i sat outside on my lunch to get bronzy -SUCCESS
• at the moment my toes are cold and my tummy is sweating….weird

darien played this song, which just happens to be my favorite sade song, to me and he, dj and i danced all together in our living room

i started crying -HUGE SIGN- because i was so touched by the moment

it was beautiful!
